Compliance

Compliance should be a focal point of any service provider if you are to put your trust in them to work with you. At Payshield, we understand how important it is for our clients to be confident in our approach towards the relevant areas of compliance.

Right To Work

Our digital RTW platform ensures that all your candidates have their ID verified and have the right to work in the UK. Alongside uploading their ID documents or share codes, they’ll undergo a face matching and liveness check to confirm their credentials.

Insurance

We have Employer’s Liability (£10m) Public Liability (£5m) and Professional Indemnity insurance cover in place to cover your candidates when working on your clients’ sites and systems.

Umbrella Employment

Our umbrella solution employs your candidates on an overarching employment contract to cover all their assignments and affords them the rights that employees are legally entitled to. Their pay is subject to PAYE as employment income, submitted to HMRC via Real Time Information (RTI) and taxes always paid without delay

Tax

Our payment processing system is designed specifically for Umbrella and CIS payment processing and effortlessly and accurately handles PAYE, National Insurance and CIS deductions ensuring that the the correct details are calculated and submitted to HMRC via RTI.

Pension

An auto-enrolment workplace pension scheme is in place for all eligible employees engaged via our Umbrella employment model.

Holiday Pay:

Umbrella employees receive at least 5.6 weeks (28 days) paid leave each year. We make a provision for paid leave each time we calculate pay, and your candidates are able to claim that amount whenever they take time off during the year. Your candidates can opt for their holiday pay to be advanced to them alongside their pay each week if they prefer. It’s their choice.

Agency Workers Regulations (AWR):

We have processes in place to make sure we, you and your client all comply obligations under AWR and that all in-scope agency workers are afforded their rights under the regulations.
