How CIS works ?

For genuinely self-employed individuals working in the Construction Industry, our CIS solution is a straightforward way of receiving your income regularly and accurately. Each time we process your CIS income, we verify your UTR (Unique Tax Reference) with HMRC to make sure CIS tax is deducted at the correct rate.

What you can expect from Construction Industry Scheme (CIS):

Assess you and the role as being suitable for self-employment

Verify your Unique Tax Reference (UTR) with HMRC

Calculate and deduct the appropriate CIS tax, then pay across to HMRC

Inform you of the amount they will be paid

Take all responsibility for all status submissions to HMRC

Provide a payment statement each time the you are paid, and an annual CIS deduction statement

Take away the risk of CIS penalties

How CIS payments are calculated ?

We’ll invoice your agency at the agreed rate for the number of days or hours you have worked each week. From the income we receive, we’ll deduct our margin then deduct and the relevant CIS tax amount before making a payment to you alongside an income statement each week.

You’ll receive a text notification informing you of your payment.

We’ll also provide you with an annual CIS deduction statement making your self-assessment process as easy as possible.
